Terms & Conditions of GFPOINT 2018 Orienteering Race

(here “the Race”)

1. MAIN GOALS OF THE RACE

The main goals of the Race are: fun, competitive recreation with a map, compass and ASG replica, testing navigation skills in difficult terrain and in the realities of an airsoft Race.

3. DATE, PLACE AND SCHEDULE OF THE RACE

From February8th, 6:00 PM (CET) – To February9th, 8.00 PM (CET)
The base, start and finish lines are located in:
Gymnasium in Mieroszów
ul. Hoża 4, 58-350 Mieroszów
Powiat wałbrzyski

REMARK: routes in this category are located along the Czech Republic border! Each participant is required to carry a valid ID card or passport.

Schedule of the Race:

Friday, February 8th, 2019:

18:00-22:00 registration of participants in GF-TEAM, GF-BASIC, GF-PROFESSIONAL categories and accommodation. Remark – participants from the GF-TEAM category have the priority.
22:00 – briefing for team leaders from the GF-TEAM category,
23:00 – lights-out.

Saturday, February 9th, 2019:

00:00 – the designated start of the TEAM category, the exact start time will be given in the pre-start announcement,
07:00 – registration of participants in GF-PROFESSIONAL and GF-BASIC categories, classification, equipment weighing
08:00 – registration closing, briefing, the technical announcement before the start of the GF-PROFESSIONAL category,
08:15 – start for the participants of the GF-PROFESSIONAL category
08:00 – registration of participants in GF-BASIC, classification
9:00 – registration closing, briefing, the technical announcement before the start of the GF-BASIC category,
9:30 – start for the participants of the GF-BASIC category
16.30 – the closing of checkpoints,
17:00 – the closing of the finishing line,
19:00– award ceremony.

REMARK: The schedule can be changed. Any changes to the hours will be given in the pre-start announcement no later than one week before the Race.

4. THE PARTICIPATION AND INFORMATION ON REGISTRATION

4.1) To participate in the Race individual has to:

a) fulfillthe participant’s registration process / sign in at gfpoint.pl and purchase the starter package by 1February 2019 at the latest.
b) in case of the GF-TEAM category the registration is done by one of the team members, who have to provide the necessary information on the rest of their team members.
c) change of team members in the GF-TEAM category is possible until1February 2019. In case of a change of a team member/s done after February 1st, 2019, such persons will not be covered by accident insurance (NNW) and are obliged to insure themselves on their own.

4.2) Purchase of the starter package and making the payment in the amount specified in point 4.5) below is treated as signing up by the participants on the list of participants of the Race.

4.3) By making the payment, the participant or his/her legal guardian confirms that he/her has read the Terms & Conditions, undertakes to comply with them and agrees to the processing of his personal data on the principles set out in this Terms & Conditions.

4.4) The main requirement for admission participate in the Race is the total fulfillment of the following conditions:

a) purchase of the starter package
b) being at least 18 years old by the February 1, 2019 and full legal capacity or being at least 16 years old, not later than February 1, 2019. Furthermore the participants who is under 18 and over 16 should not be legally incapacitated and have to provide a written consent from his/her legal guardian subject to paragraph 4.12) and paragraph 4.13) below.
c) submitting, on the day of the Race, by the participant or his legal guardian a written statement or physician’s statement (statement of health) informing that there are no contraindications to participate in endurance challenges like the Race (a template can be downloaded from gfpoint.pl)
d) acceptance of the provisions of this Terms & Conditions, obeying regulations included in it, as well as knowledge of the conditions of participation in the Race and commitment to comply with these regulations.

4.4.A) The main requirement for admission participate in the Race in categories PROFESSIONAL and TEAM is the total fulfillment of the following conditions

a) purchase of the starter package
b) being at least 18 years old by the February 1, 2019 and full legal capacity
c) acceptance of the provisions of this Terms & Conditions, obeying regulations included in it, as well as knowledge of the conditions of participation in the Race subject to paragraph 4.12) and paragraph 4.13) below

4.5) The fee for the GF-BASIC category: 89 PLN; GF-PROFESSIONAL category: 109 PLN; GF-TEAM category: 399 PLN (for a four-person team).

4.6) The fee for the starter package, travel expenses and other expenses are covered by the participants.

4.7) The entry fee includes (the Organizer provides):

a) starter pack,
b) a map with information on checkpoints,
c) personal accident insurance for the duration of the Race (applies to players registered until February1st, 2019),
d) service of checkpoints and equipment necessary to carry out special tasks,
e) the possibility of using the sanitary facilities in the base of the Race,
f) a hot meal and warm drinks in the base after the Race,
g) prizes and diplomas for the best participants.
h) accommodation at the gym

4.8) The starter pack can be collected by the participant only in person in the base of the Race on 8 or 9 February 2019,before closing the registration for a given category. To collect the starter packageparticipant has to present his/her identity card.

4.9) The maximum number of participantsis limited to 300 participants. The Organizer holds the right to change this number until the end of registration in a particular category on the day of the Race’s beginning. The organizer reserves the right to limit the number of participants. The order of applications decides about acceptance along with the entry fee.

4.10) Every participant of the Race is obliged to sign and deliver on the day of the Race a statement that he/she participates in the Race on his/her own responsibility. This statement should be submitted before receiving the participant card. The statement can be downloaded at gfpoint.pl

4.11) The fee mentioned in the point 4.5) includes the participant’s personal accident insurance (NNW)

4.12) Persons without insurance are NOT allowed to participate in the event. See point 4.7 c)

4.13) The Organizer doesn’t take responsibility for any random events (accidents) arising during the Race, in particular, caused by force majeure or the sole fault of the injured Participant.

5. FORM OF THE RACE, MAP, TERRAIN, CRITERIA OF PARTICIPATION

5.1) The Race is a recreational competitive hike, carried out individually by participants (excluding the GF-TEAM category).

5.2) Each participant will receive a participant card and a colorful topographic map with the scale on it and description of the checkpoints.

5.3) Checkpoints (CKPT) are marked with white and orange, 15 cm big, lanterns fixed to one side of the object. On the map, the checkpoints will be marked with red circles for the GF-PROFESSIONAL category, the orange ones for the GF-TEAM category and the blue circles for the GF-BASIC category.

5.4) To confirm their presence at the checkpoint participants have to receive the perforation of the corresponding field on participating card corresponding to the particular CKPT. Perforations are made by the CKPT judge – for CKPTs in which there are CKPT judges or an Independent participant – for CKPTs in which there are no CKPT judges. The participant’s obligation is to confirm attendance at CKPT in the order given by the Organizer.

5.5) On individual CKPTs there may be tasks that would be supervised by the judges of CKPT. participants approach the task in order in which they reached the CKPT. After completing the task, the CKPT judge perforates the corresponding field on the participant’s card. For the correct performance of some tasks, participants can get time bonuses.

5.6) The failure to perform the task, its inaccurate performance or partial task completion may result in:

a) penalty- additional minutes, which will be added to the final result at the finish line,
b) additional tasks or checkpoints to be confirmed on the route.

5.7) To complete the Race and be listed in standings participant should reach all ALL CKPT, acquire CORRECT perforations on his participant card and cross the finishing line before closing it.

5.8) General classification rules for the GF-BASIC and GF-PROFESSIONAL categories:

a) the fundamental requirement for being classified in the Race is reaching the finish line before its closure (6:00 PM CET),
b)participants who have received confirmation at all checkpoints assigned to their route will be classified in the first place,
c) participants who received fewer perforations/confirmations (completed fewer tasks) will be classified subsequently in accordance with the number of perforations they have received. Subsequently, first those who have one confirmation less, then those who have two confirmations less, etc.,
d) participants who will reach the finishing line after its closure will have their time and penalty points counted, but will not be classified. The base of the Race will be closed at 7:00 PM CET.

5.9) General classification rules for the GF-TEAM category:

a) the fundamental requirement for being of classified on the Race is reaching the finishing line until 17:00,
b) in the first place are classified teams that will come to the finishing line in a full set (with all members). Teams that reach the finishing line lacking members will be classified in further positions. Correspondingly, the teams that reach the finishing line without one player, then without two, etc.,
c) the second condition for classification is the number of confirmations/perforations (completed tasks) from checkpoints: in the first place are teams with a full set of confirmations from CKPT, followed by teams that have fewer confirmations,
d) in the TEAM category, the third condition for classification is the time spent on the route of the Race, along with additional penalties and bonuses for completing tasks at CKPTs.
Therefore, the first place will be taken by the team, which will cross the finishing line with all its members, confirmations from all checkpoints and will do it in the best time after counting all bonuses and penalties.

The time of the team at the control points and at the finishing line is registered when the last player reaches the above-mentioned point/line. At the same time, separation of the team is unacceptable unless the specificity of the task at the control point requires it. During the Race, the distance between the members of the same team cannot be longer than 100m. In the case of violation of this rule, the team may receive time penalty (30 minutes of a mandatory stop) or in case of major violation of this rule, the team may be disqualified.

5.10) The GFPOINT 2019 Race has four categories: GF-BASIC, GF-PROFESSIONAL, GF-TEAM and GF-ADVENTURE (the category has its own regulations).

5.11) participants from each category have to carry with them :

a) turned off (!), fully functional and a charged mobile phone, which is necessary in case of emergency,
b) ruler, pencil and compass with step scale or protractor,
c) a functional flashlight.
d) a valid identity card or passport.

5.12) Participants in the GF-BASIC category, in addition to the equipment listed in paragraph 5.11) above, must be dressed in a military uniform, including a jacket/sweatshirt, trousers and headgear suitable for uniform and weather conditions.

5.13) Participants of the GF-PROFESSIONAL or GF-TEAM categories, in addition to the equipment listed in paragraph 5.11) above, must be dressed in a military uniform, including a jacket/sweatshirt, trousers and headgear suitable for uniform and weather conditions.In addition to complete uniforms participants in these classifications MUST have:

a) protective glasses intended for Airsoft,
b) a backpack with a weight of at least 10 kg (the backpack weight cannot contain water or food). The weight of the backpack will be checked at the beginning of the Race, on the route and at the finish line,
c) tactical vest/slings at least 2 kg,
d) replica (fully operational, the weight of at least 2.5kg), including ammunition

5.14) Participants of the GF-PROFESSIONAL or GF-TEAM categories are obliged to have approved eye protection for the entire duration of the GFPOINT 2019Race. Breaking this rule may result in disqualification of the participant. In the case of breaking the above, the Organizer is not responsible for the consequences of the participant’s actions related to this.

5.15) Participants of the GF-TEAM category must have (in their mandatory equipment) reflective elements when they are moving at night or in conditions of limited visibility on public routes.

5.16) In categories where possession of a replica is required, like GF-PROFESSIONAL or GF-TEAM, the replica cannot have a clipped magazine, in any case except for CKPT, on which shooting will be allowed/required.

5.17) It is ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN to shoot from a replica, ANYWHERE apart from the places where the permission will be granted (or the order given) by the service of the Race! In built-up areas (urban and rural) replicas must be transferred in a way that leaves no doubt as to the intentions of the participant, i.e. it is forbidden to direct the replica towards people, animals, buildings, etc. It is recommended to carry the replica with the barrel pointing downwards.

5.18) The clothes, equipment of the participants, accessories and instruments which they will carry with them must comply with the law regulations.

5.19) Race distance: approximately 25 km in the GF-BASIC category, approximately 35 km in the GF-PROFESSIONAL category and approximately 45 km in the GF-TEAM category (The shortest possible distance; including the night stage),. The route will pass the Suchy Mountains and it includes tourist routes, dirt roads, paved roads, and asphalt roads.

5.20) The winners of the GF-BASIC and GF-PROFESSIONAL categories will be individuals, and in case of the GF-TEAM category teams, that fulfill all criteria of corresponding classifications and will have the best final time (Race time including corrections resulting from potential time penalties and bonuses etc.)

6. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

6.1) The participants of the Race have to obey all regulations, including road traffic regulations, forestry law, regulations on nature protection and fire safety regulations. In the NATURE RESERVES located in the area of the Race, participants can use ONLY marked tourist routes!

6.2) By accepting Terms & Conditions, the participant agrees to the use of his name and surname in materials published or transmitted in television, on the radio, on the internet and in printed media.

6.3) It is forbidden to use any electronic navigation devices, such as GPS, car navigations, electronic compasses, etc. and communication devices such as walkie-talkies, two-way radios, etc. during the Race. It is forbidden to use other paper and electronic maps than those provided by the organizer. Anyattempt to break this rule, noticedby the Organizer, will result in disqualification.

6.4) It is unacceptable to use any means of transport on the route of the competition unless it is required to perform tasks at checkpoints. Anyattempt to break this rule, noticedby the Organizer, will result in disqualification.

6.5) The assistance of accompanying persons (so-called support) is unacceptable on the route and at the checkpoints, with the exception of the Race’s base.

6.6) It is forbidden to change position, destroy, cover or in any other way interfere with Race’s and checkpoints’ marking. In particular, participants are obliged to keep in their place the lanterns marking control points and perforators. Anyattempt to break this rule, noticedby the Organizer, will result in disqualification.

6.7) Drinking alcohol and use of other intoxicants in the Race’s base and during the Race is forbidden. The organizer has the right to control participants, including to call for appropriate services. The participant agrees to this condition by acknowledging this Terms & Conditions.

6.8) In the case of finding a state of intoxication or a state “indicating alcohol consumption”, the Organizer has the right to immediately remove a participant from the list.

6.9) Persons referred to in paragraph 6.8) are obliged to leave the Race base immediately. In the event of refusal or inability to leave the base, the Organizer may call appropriate uniformed services.

6.10) The smoking tobacco and use of electronic cigarettes are strictly forbidden in the Race’s base. With the exception of designated places.

6.11) Entrance to the gymnasium is possible only in sneakers, athletic shoes, footwear with non-marking sole or without shoes.

6.12) Allparticipants are responsible for the damages caused by their actions. They bear full financial responsibility for all caused damage.The Organizer is responsible for damages related to its activities The Organizer is responsible only for damages resulting from circumstances for which the Organizer is responsible. In particular, the organizer does not take the responsibility both for damaged property and participant’s security if the participant DOES NOT OBEY the provisions of Terms & Conditions or other regulations regarding safety, forestry law, does not apply to the prohibition signs or leaves marked trails, etc.

6.13) The Race is carried out individually by participants (excluding the GF-TEAM category)- any cooperation between participants of GF-BASIC and GF-PROFESSIONAL (also within the categories) categories is forbidden. In the GF-TEAM category, any cooperation between teams is forbidden.

6.14) Organizer’s decisions are final and irrevocable. In the case of disputable issues not regulated by these Terms & Conditions, the participant will be entitled tosubmit their claims in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure.

6.15) The organizer holds the right to change the content of the Terms & Conditions until the start of the Race. All changes will be announced viathe Organizer’s announcementsat www.gfpoint.pl. Matters not included in this Terms & Conditions, and important from the point of view of the Organizer will be given in the form of pre-start announcements before the day of the Race. Announcements will be posted at the website: www.gfpoint.pl.

6.16) None of the underneath mentioned individuals may participate in the Race:

a) Organizer’semployees,
b) other people linked directly or indirectly to preparing and administrating the Race,
c)  relatives to individuals named in the abovept. a) and b),
d) persons under the influence of alcohol and/or other intoxicants,
e) persons who do not meet any of the paragraphs of this Terms & Conditions.

6.17) The former Organizer’s employees may participate in this Race. Their time will be recorded in the general classification. However, they cannot get prizes from the winners’ pool of prizes.

6.18) Participants express their irrevocable consent to record their image in the form of photos and videos during the Race. They agree to the processing and use of these materials for marketing purposes related to Race’s promotion.

6.19) In the case of disobeying the Race’s Terms & Conditions, the participant cannot demand from the Organizer reimbursement for incurred costs resulting from participation in the Race.

7. PRIZES

7.1) The prizes in the GF-BASIC, GF-PROFESSIONAL, GF-TEAMcategories will be airsoft replicas and additional prizes funded by sponsors. The list of replicas (prize pool) will be given in a separate Organizer’s announcement and at the subpage containing information about prizes at www.gfpoint.pl.

7.2) Participants who will take the first three places in the GF-BASIC and GF-PROFESSIONAL categories will have the opportunity to choose a replica from the prize pool. Because there is only one copy of each model in the prize pool, the participant who takes first place will be the first to choose. The remaining participants will be able to choose the prize according to the order of the places occupied.

7.3) In the GF-TEAM category, only the winning team will have the right to choose 4 replicas from the prize pool. Teams that will take the second and the third place in this category will be awarded packages of prizes provided by sponsors. The packages may contain airsoft equipment.In addition, the participant may be awarded special prizes. The rules concerning special prizes will be described in the Organizer’s announcement. These prizes will be awarded at the end of the closing ceremony.

7.4) In order to receive the prize, the participant has to be physically present at the closing ceremony that will take place in the Race’s base.

8. GENERAL

8.1) The organizer holds the right to cancel the Race without giving a reason. In that case, participants will receive a refund of the entry fee.

8.2) The final interpretation of Terms & Conditions belongs to the organizer. In the case of disputable matters, the participants will be entitled to submit their claims in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure.

8.3) The organizer holds the right to change the regulations. The announcement informing about the changes made in Terms & Conditions will appear on the website www.gfpoint.pl

4.12) Individuals without insurance are NOT allowed to participate in the event. See point 4.7 c)

4.13) The Organizer doesn’t take responsibility for any random events (accidents) arising during the Race, in particular, caused by force majeure or the sole fault of the injured Participant.

5. FORM OF THE RACE, MAP, TERRAIN, CRITERIA OF PARTICIPATION

5.1) The Race is a recreational competitive hike, carried out by teams consisting of 2,3 or 4 members.

5.2) The route of the Race is understood as itinerary including checkpoints (CKPT) marked and unmarked on the map.

5.3) The GF-ADVENTURE route will contain elements of the role-playing game:

a) the order of performed tasks/reaching CKPTs is optional, except for checkpoints indicated by the Organizer,
b) at CKPT participants may obtain information or items necessary to perform tasks at other checkpoints; it is possible that a team will not be able to complete a task at the particular checkpoint due to lack of information or items,
c) not all checkpoints are marked on the map,
d) on the route of the Race there will be members of the service playing characters from the screenplay of the GF-ADVENTURE category, they will be marked in the manner given by the organizer; the information on the method of marking can be obtained by the participants during the Race. Characters can change their location and move along the route.
e) for the correct performance of tasks on the route it will be necessary to interact with the members of the service playing characters from the screenplay of the GF-ADVENTURE category (designated by the Organizer),
f) The organizer of the run for the GF-ADVENTURE category prepared different types of checkpoints:

  • Logic puzzles,
  • Physical challenges,
  • Tasks related to the interaction with characters, including elements of negotiations, etc.
  • Airsoft tasks.

5.4) Every team will receive a participant card and a colorful topographic map with the scale on it and description of selected checkpoints.

5.5) To confirm their presence at the checkpoint participants should receive the perforation of the corresponding field on participant card corresponding to the particular CKPT.

5.6) The decision to accept the completion of a task belongs to a service of particular CKPT.

5.7) Perforations are made by the CKPT judge – for CKPTs in which there are CKPT judges or an Independent Participant – for CKPTs in which there are no CKPT judges.

5.8) The Participant’s obligation is to confirm attendance at CKPT in the order given by the Organizer.

5.9) On particular CKPTs there may be tasks that would be supervised by the judges of CKPT. Teams approach the task in order in which they reached the CKPT. After completing the task, the CKPT judge perforates the corresponding field on the participant card.

5.10) In the case of CKPT, at which there is no service, the responsibility for perforating the card lies with the members of the team.

5.11) General classification rules for the GF-ADVENTURE category:

a) the fundamental requirement for being classified in the Race is reaching the finish line before its closure (6:00 PM CET),
b) in the first place are classified teams that will come to the finishing line in a full set (with all members). Teams that reach the finishing line lacking members will be classified in further places. Correspondingly, the teams that reach the finishing line without one player, then without two, etc.,
c) when a team reaches the finishing line- the Race is recognized as completed when its last member crosses the finishing line,
d) time of the Race is not measured and it is not a victory criterion,
e) During the Race, the distance between the members of one team cannot be longer than 100m. In the case of violation of this rule, the team may receive time penalty (30 minutes of mandatory stop) or in case of major violation of this rule may even be disqualified.

Thus the first place will be taken by the team, which will cross the finishing line as a first one, after the correct completion of the final task and with confirmations from all checkpoints on their participant card. At the same time, it is unacceptable for teams to split up, unless the specificity of the task at the checkpoint requires it.

5.12) Participants from each category have to carry with them :

a) turned off (!), fully functional and a charged mobile phone, which is necessary in case of emergency,
b) ruler, pencil and compass with step scale or protractor,
c) a functional flashlight.
d) a valid identity card or passport.

5.13) Participants in the GF-ADVENTURE category, in addition to the equipment listed in paragraph 5.12) above, must be dressed in a military uniform, including a jacket/sweatshirt, trousers, headgear suitable for uniform and weather conditions, high trekking shoes or military boots. In addition to complete uniforms Participants in this classification MUST have:

a) protective glasses intended for Airsoft, glasses have to meet appropriate norms of ballistic protection
b) a backpack with a weight of at least 10 kg (the backpack weight cannot contain water or food). The weight of the backpack will be checked at the beginning of the Race, on the route and at the finish line,
c) tactical vest/slings at least 2 kg,
d) replica (fully operational, the weight of at least 2.5kg), including ammunition

5.14) Participant in the GF-ADVENTURE category is obliged to have approved eye protection for the entire duration of the run. Breaking this rule may result in disqualification of the participant. In the case of breaking the above The Organizer is not responsible for the consequences of the Participant’s actions related to this.

5.15) Participants of the GF-ADVENTURE category must have (in their mandatory equipment) reflective elements when they are moving at night or in conditions of limited visibility on public routes.

5.16) In the GF-ADVENTURE category a replica cannot have a  clipped magazine in any case except for CKPT, on which shooting will be allowed/required.

5.17) It is ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN to shoot from a replica, ANYWHERE apart from the places where the permission will be granted (or the order given) by the service of the Race! In built-up areas (urban and rural) replicas must be transferred in a way that leaves no doubt as to the intentions of the participant, i.e. it is forbidden to direct the replica towards people, animals, buildings, etc. It is recommended to carry the replica with the barrel pointing downwards.

5.18) The clothes, equipment of the Participants, accessories and instruments which they will carry with them must comply with the law regulations.

5.19) Planned length of the route: approximately 25 km. The route will pass the Suchy Mountains and it includes tourist routes, dirt roads, paved roads, and asphalt roads.

6. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

6.1) The participants of the run have to obey all regulations, including road traffic regulations, forestry law, regulations on nature protection and fire safety regulations. In the NATURE RESERVES located in the area of the Race, participants can use ONLY marked tourist routes!

6.2) By accepting Terms & Conditions, the Participant agrees to the processing of personal data, including the use of his name and surname in materials published or transmitted in television, on the radio, on the internet and in printed media.

6.3) It is forbidden to use any electronic navigation devices, such as GPS, car navigations, electronic compasses, etc. and communication devices such as walkie-talkies, two-way radios, etc. during the Race. It is forbidden to use other paper and electronic maps than those provided by the organizer. Any attempt to break this rule, noticed by the Organizer, will result in disqualification.

6.4) It is unacceptable to use any means of transport on the route of the competition unless it is required to perform tasks at checkpoints. Any attempt to break this rule, noticed by the Organizer, will result in disqualification.

6.5) The assistance of accompanying persons (so-called support) is unacceptable on the route and at the checkpoints, with the exception of the Race’s base.

6.6) It is forbidden to change position, destroy, cover or in any other way interfere with Race’s and checkpoints’ marking. In particular, participants are obliged to keep in their place the lanterns marking control points and perforators. Any attempt to break this rule, noticed by the Organizer, will result in disqualification.

6.7) Drinking alcohol and use of other intoxicants in the Race’s base and during the Race is forbidden. The organizer has the right to control participants, including to call for appropriate services. The participant agrees to this condition by acknowledging this Terms & Conditions.

6.8) In the case of finding a state of intoxication or a state “indicating alcohol consumption”, the Organizer has the right to immediately remove a participant from the list.

6.9) Individuals referred to in paragraph 6.8) are obliged to leave the Race base immediately. In the event of refusal or inability to leave the base, the Organizer may call appropriate uniformed services.

6.10) The smoking tobacco and use of electronic cigarettes are strictly forbidden in the Race’s base. With the exception of designated places.

6.11) Entrance to the gymnasium is possible only in sneakers, athletic shoes, footwear with non-marking sole or without shoes.

6.12) All participants are responsible for the damages caused by their actions. They bear full financial responsibility for all caused damage. The Organizer is responsible for damages related to its activities The Organizer is responsible only for damages resulting from circumstances for which the Organizer is responsible. In particular, the organizer does not take the responsibility both for damaged property and participant’s security if the participant DOES NOT OBEY the provisions of Terms & Conditions or other regulations regarding safety, forestry law, does not apply to the prohibition signs or leaves marked trails, etc.

6.13) In the GF-ADVENTURE category, any cooperation between teams is forbidden.

6.14) Organizer’s decisions are final and irrevocable. In the case of disputable issues not regulated by these Terms & Conditions, the participant will be entitled to submit their claims in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure.

6.15) The organizer holds the right to change the content of the Terms & Conditions until the start of the Race. All changes will be announced via the Organizer’s announcements at www.gfpoint.pl. Matters not included in this Terms & Conditions, and important from the point of view of the Organizer will be given in the form of pre-start announcements before the day of the Race. Announcements will be posted at the website: www.gfpoint.pl.

6.16) None of the underneath mentioned individuals may participate in the Race:

a) Organizer’s employees,
b) other people linked directly or indirectly to preparing and administrating the Race,
c) relatives to individuals named in the above pt. a) and b),
d) persons under the influence of alcohol and/or other intoxicants,
e) persons who do not meet any of the paragraphs of this Terms & Conditions.

6.17) The former Organizer’s employees may participate in this Race. Their time will be recorded in the general classification. However, they cannot get prizes from the winners’ pool of prizes.

6.18) Participants express their irrevocable consent to record their image in the form of photos and videos during the Race. They agree to the processing and use of these materials for marketing purposes related to Race’s promotion.

6.19) In the case of disobeying the Race’s Terms & Conditions, the participant cannot demand from the Organizer reimbursement for incurred costs resulting from participation in the Race.

7. PRIZES

7.1) The prizes in the GF-ADVENTURE category will be airsoft replicas and additional prizes funded by sponsors. The list of replicas (prize pool) will be given in a separate Organizer’s announcement and at the subpage containing information about prizes at www.gfpoint.pl.

7.2) Prizes in the GF-ADVENTURE category will be given to teams that will take the first, second and third place.

7.3) In the GF-TEAM category, only the winning team will be able to choose replicas from the prize pool. It will be able to choose number of replicas equal to the number of its members.

7.4) Teams that will take the second and the third place in this category will be awarded packages of prizes provided by sponsors. The packages may contain airsoft equipment.

7.5) In addition, participant may be awarded special prizes. The rules concerning special prizes will be specified in Organizer’s announcement. These prizes will be awarded at the end of the closing ceremony.

7.6) In order to receive the prize, the participant has to physically present at the closing ceremony that will take place in the Race’s base.

8. GENERAL

8.1) The organizer holds the right to cancel the Race without giving a reason. In that case, participants will receive a refund of the entry fee.

8.2) The final interpretation of Terms & Conditions belongs to the organizer. In the case of disputable matters, the participants will be entitled to submit their claims in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure.

8.3) The organizer holds the right to change the regulations. The announcement informing about the changes made in Terms & Conditions will appear on the website www.gfpoint.pl
